Job Description

Description Seller Compliance and Trust team enables sellers to be policy and product compliant for doing their business within India. Our team supports sellers by providing tax Ids verification features making them compliant to sell products in India marketplace. We also build the seller experience to view the policy violations on their account or product listings and enable them to remediate them as soon as possible. At a strategic level we own multiple key platforms and initiatives that are instrumental in shaping the product and business direction. Our team is actively involved in defining key product features that impact the our sellers business and growth. Job Responsibilities: - Follow a tech SOP for completing a project/on boarding tasks. Write codes accomplishing some small task or rectifying some issue happening in a service. Understand and debug minor issues occurring in a service when a TT comes/ PE raised. Prod deployment and sanity. Reassign the TTs to the write teams following the SOP. Write scripts for automations to fix commonly occurring issues. Understand and work on AWS services like Lambda, SQS, DDB. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems Experience scripting in modern program languages A degree in Computer Science or at least one year relevant experience in a large-scale online technical operations environment. Good communication skills. Strong in any one scripting language Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate efficient and effective interaction with peers and customers Effective organisational skills to maintain a consistently high standard of operations in a busy environment Confidence to initiate, drive and manage conference calls involving multiple stakeholders Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Basic Linux/Unix command knowledge. Good communication skills. Basic AWS knowledge. (Preferred not necessary) Instances in previous job experience of tech related work, ownership and going ahead than their assigned work to solve some issues. Strong knowledge of the computer science fundamentals and good understanding of distributed software systems. Exposure to server-less cloud computing is a strong plus. Experience with technical support, incident response and incident management. Able to automate select systems administration tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools Exposure to Test Driven Development, CI/CD process to achieve zero touch deployments.
