We are seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Application Support possessing strong UnixLinux scripting and BMC ControlM skills to provide robust production support and automation solutions

Serve as a key member of the application support team focusing on UnixLinux scripting and BMC ControlM job schedulingEnsure reliability and efficiency of production systems through proactive monitoring and incident resolutionContribute to automation and process improvement initiatives within the support environmentCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve technical issues and support business requirementsMaintain comprehensive documentation for processes scripts and job schedulesAdhere to ITIL and organizational best practices for incident problem and change managementStay updated with latest industry trends and technologies related to application support automation and job scheduling

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop maintain and troubleshoot UnixLinux shell scripts for automation and operational efficiencyManage configure and monitor job schedules using BMC ControlM ensuring timely execution and minimal failuresPerform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement corrective actionsParticipate in oncall support rotations and provide timely response to critical production issuesWork closely with development infrastructure and business teams to deliver seamless application supportDocument production support activities standard operating procedures and lessons learnedIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in application support processes
