YCook is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead raw material planning and procurement for agricultural commodities at our food manufacturing facility. This role is critical for ensuring reliable supply, cost control, supplier development, and strong planning aligned with annual production requirements.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agri sourcing, supplier management, contractual farming and cost optimisation. You will play a central role in managing procurement of raw materials such as sweet corn and other inputs to support the company’s production plans.

Key Responsibilities

Raw Material Planning and Procurement

Plan and procure agricultural raw materials based on production forecasts and demand.

Achieve procurement at targeted prices while maintaining annual average costs within control.

Contract Farming

Plan and manage contract farming for sweet corn as per production needs.

Ensure farming practices follow GLOBAL GAP and MRL standards.

Supplier Management

Identify, evaluate and onboard suitable suppliers based on organisational procurement needs.

Negotiate commercial terms that deliver strong value to the company.

Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply.

Monitor supplier performance for quality, reliability and delivery adherence.

Resolve supply issues proactively and efficiently.

Qualifications

BTech, BSc, MTech or MSc in Agriculture or Horticulture.

5 to 7 years of relevant experience in agricultural procurement or supply chain management.

Strong understanding of agri sourcing, farming practices, supplier development and cost control.
