Supply Chain Manager

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Location: Ambala, Haryana Industry: Food Processing (Frozen Foods – Burger Patty, French Fries, etc.) Company: Pyramid Eats Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager for our food processing plant in Ambala. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the frozen food industry , especially with products like burger patties, french fries, and other frozen SKUs. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain operations from procurement to delivery, ensuring cost-efficiency, timely production, and quality control. Key Responsibilities: Plan, manage and coordinate all logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service activities. Ensure efficient procurement of raw materials including potatoes, binders, packaging materials, etc. Monitor inventory levels and implement effective demand planning and forecasting. Oversee cold storage logistics and temperature-sensitive supply chain handling. Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers. Implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food safety standards during handling, storage, and shipping. Collaborate closely with production, quality control, sales, and procurement departments. Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Optimize costs while maintaining consistent product availability and timely delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Food Technology, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in frozen food manufacturing or processing . Strong knowledge of supply chain management systems and cold chain logistics. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP, FSSAI). Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multi-location coordination. Preferred Candidate: Background in frozen food items like burger patties, french fries, spring rolls, nuggets , etc. Experience working in a food processing unit with automated or semi-automated lines.
