Supply Chain Manager

As a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing, procurement, and distribution of electronic components, PCBs, and other materials. Your responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery terms are met. Negotiating contracts and maintaining supplier compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules will be key aspects of your role. In addition to procurement, you will be responsible for inventory and material planning. Your tasks will involve planning and managing inventory levels to meet production demands effectively while avoiding overstocking. Developing and implementing Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems, along with coordinating with production and sales teams for demand forecasting, will be essential for successful inventory management. You will also oversee logistics and distribution operations, managing both inbound and outbound logistics. Coordinating with freight forwarders, customs officials, and warehousing partners to optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines will be part of your daily activities. Cost optimization and risk management are critical components of your role. You will be required to identify and implement cost reduction initiatives throughout the supply chain. Monitoring market trends and risks such as shortages and price fluctuations in electronic components will be essential. Developing backup supplier strategies for critical components will also be part of your risk management responsibilities. Maintaining accurate records of orders, shipments, invoices, and customs documentation will be crucial for ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards such as RoHS and REACH. Your expertise in the electronics supply chain will be a must-have for this role. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and a yearly bonus.
