Role Purpose

Supplier Quality & Development

Reporting to

Manager, Supplier Quality & Development

Responsibilities/ Task

Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority

Handling Supplier Quality, managing suppliers APQP & SOP, Conducting regular Process Audits, Supplier Selection thru potential supplier Audit, Managing supplier quality complaints & warranty issues. Conduct Onsite PPAP & Run @ rate. Ensure Flawless launch of supplier. Co ordinate with all global locations. Commodity Gear parts handling is must. Gear Manufacturing process like Hobbing,Shaving,Gear Grinding , Gear Honing is must.

Key Performance Indicators

Supplier Ontime Launch , Supplier ratings, Ontime support & closer of supplier related issues with various divisions of MPT.

Educational Qualification

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical engineering

No. Of Years Of Work Experience

15+

Critical Skill Sets (Technical)

  • Commodity knowledge of Gears , Consolidated Knowledge and application in field of Quality Tools (8D, Ishikawa, problem solving, Control Plan, FMEA, SPC) as well as of international standard IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3

Critical Skill Sets (Behavioral)

  • Excellent communication skills, strong ability to work in team, assertiveness, decision making and goal oriented approach

Proficiency in languages

English & Hindi is must,
