About the Role:

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

This role involves close collaboration with instructional designers, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging, learner-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow client-provided course design and instructional frameworks
• Curate and validate scientific content aligned with learning objectives and competencies
• Develop instructional materials such as:
• Concept guides
• Case studies
• Interactive learning scripts
• Write and review formative assessments for accuracy, currency, and alignment
• Ensure consistency between assessments and instructional content
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate scientific research principles into product development and marketing communication
• Evaluate training effectiveness and relevance across diverse career pathways
• Participate in weekly or bi-weekly meetings with client project leaders and instructional designers
• Attend weekly check-ins with the SME Manager

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Healthcare, or Scientific Communication
• Strong expertise in scientific research methods and scientific communication
• Experience translating complex scientific concepts into clear, consumer-friendly language
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in scientific research
• Experience collaborating across domains such as clinical research, skincare & dermatology, and biotechnology
• Proven experience in instructional content writing and online course development

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in teaching, training, or educational roles
• Proficiency in generative AI tools applied to research and communication
