Job Description

Role Overview: As an Application Specialist, you are the operational backbone of the Study Abroad Division. You will ensure that every student’s journey — from post-counselling to receiving an Unconditional Offer Letter (UOL) — is handled with precision, empathy, and accountability. This is a mission-critical role requiring a blend of process discipline, proactive communication, and unwavering ownership. Key Responsibilities: 1. Application Management & Documentation: Handle the end-to-end university application process for assigned students post-counselling. Collect, verify, and organize all required academic and financial documents from students/parents. Ensure accuracy and completeness before submission to aggregators or universities. 2. Coordination with Aggregators & Universities: Work closely with aggregator partners (like KC Overseas, GeeBee, ApplyBoard, etc.) to ensure timely application submissions. Follow up rigorously on application statuses, conditional offers, and UOLs. Escalate and resolve application discrepancies or document queries quickly. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Loans, English Test (IELTS/TOEFL), and Process Lead teams to ensure a smooth journey. Track dependencies and proactively close gaps in coordination. Support visa preparation steps once UOLs are received. 4. Student & Parent Communication: Maintain regular, positive communication with students and parents throughout the process. Provide timely updates on application progress, missing documents, and expected timelines. Handle sensitive concerns with professionalism and reassurance — no communication gaps or escalation-worthy delays. 5. Reporting & Ownership: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and ensure clean data hygiene. Report daily/weekly progress on applications, turnaround times, and offer outcomes. Take full ownership — from application submission to UOL delivery — ensuring zero lapses. Ideal Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (BBA, MBA, or equivalent preferred). Experience: 0–2 years in Study Abroad processing / Admissions / Student documentation (freshers with strong communication & process aptitude can also apply). Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication & coordination skills (English, Hindi, Telugu preferred). Strong attention to detail and document accuracy. High sense of ownership, follow-up discipline, and result orientation. Ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously. Empathetic communicator — balances speed with care. Proficiency in Google Sheets, CRM tools, and email correspondence.
