Week off: Sunday + issued holiday as per company norms.

Time: 9:00 Am – 7:00 Pm

Transportation Facility: “Yes” (deduction from employee’s salary)

Job Summary:

The Store & Purchase Officer will oversee inventory management and procurement activities for raw

materials like machine spares (extrusion dies, Motor Gear Box and others) used in pipe extrusion machinery

manufacturing.

The role combines hands-on stock control with strategic purchasing to ensure seamless production, cost

efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

The candidate will maintain accurate stock records, deliver monthly audits, and manage vendor

relationships to support uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Management

 Plan, schedule, and supervise production activites for HDPE pipe extrusion machine components.

 Perform daily physical verification of raw materials all Mechanical and Electrical Department spares,

updating records in Excel.

 Track stock consumption, balance, and wastage; ensure zero discrepancies.

 Prepare and submit monthly stock reconciliation reports detailing inflows, outflows, and inventory status.

 Monitor critical spares (e.g., die heads, screws barrels & gear box) to prevent production downtime.

Maintain organized storage systems adhering to 5S principles for easy access and safety.

Purchase Responsibilities

 Source and evaluate suppliers, obtaining a minimum of three quotations for every purchase item to ensure

competitive pricing.

 Verify vendor rates every three months, track price trends, and report changes to optimize procurement

costs.

 Place purchase orders, verify deliveries for quality and quantity, and resolve discrepancies promptly.

 Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and adherence to material specifications.

 Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain competitive quotes, and negotiate cost-effective deals.

 Track procurement expenses, maintain budget adherence, and report variances promptly.

 Support GST compliance, invoice processing, and vendor payment follow-ups.

Additional Responsibilities

 Collaborate with production and quality teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.

 Maintain documentation for audits, including stock records, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.

 Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements in inventory and procurement.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

 Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

 Experience: 2-3 years in store management and procurement, preferably in manufacturing (plastic

extrusion or machinery manufacturing is a plus).

Technical Skills:

 Proficient in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for inventory tracking.

 Familiarity with GST Software and basic accounting principles.

 Knowledge of raw materials and spares used in pipe extrusion processes.

 Understanding of vendor management and procurement processes.
