Job Responsibilities

1. Administer all store operations using SAP, including timely GRN preparation, material receipt and issuance, and daily stock coverage reporting.
2. Inspect and coordinate incoming material quality/quantity (IQA); generate and circulate SAP (MB52) inventory reports weekly.
3. Ensure First-In, First-Out (FIFO) issue procedures, and cross-verify as per customer sales plan.
4. Monitor and control shelf-life material issue and ensure disposal post-expiry.
5. Oversee sub-contract management including planning, scheduling, stock maintenance, SAP reconciliation, and regular sub-contractor reviews.
6. Ensure every material movement for sub-contract/job-work is routed through stores with monthly reconciliation of bins, trolleys, and scrap.
7. Drive vendor portal implementation and adherence to management objectives.
8. Supervise timely opening/closing of stores (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) and record reasons for any late operation.
9. Issue material to departments physically and via SAP reservation system, preventing stock-outs, pilferage, and sales loss.
10. Perform daily and periodic reporting to the purchase department regarding stock coverage and shortages.
11. Maintain proper storage, housekeeping, and alignment with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) standards.
12. Monitor internal transportation, optimize vehicle usage, and reduce transportation cost.
13. Ensure safety and optimal space utilization for all store assets; maintain MSDS for safety products.
14. Conduct quarterly physical stock verification and reconcile with SAP (target: zero variance).
15. Perform monthly inventory ageing analysis, report on slow/obsolete materials, and ensure timely scrap disposal.
16. Prepare comprehensive monthly MIS and support continuous improvements in all inventory management processes.

Key Requirements

1. Proven experience in a plant stores/warehousing function (preferably auto ancillary sector).
2. Proficiency in SAP MM is essential.
3. Strong analytical, record-keeping, and MS Excel skills.
4. Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
