Job Title: Store Manager – Hotel Centre Point

Location: Shillong & Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya
Industry: Hospitality (Hotels, Cafés & Resorts)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee and manage store operations across our hotels, cafés, and resorts in Shillong and Ri Bhoi. The role is critical in ensuring smooth procurement, inventory control, vendor coordination and cost-effective supply of materials required for daily hospitality operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in store management within hospitality, excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple locations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end store and inventory operations for hotels, cafés, and resorts
  • Ensure timely availability of food & beverage supplies, housekeeping items, maintenance materials, and consumables
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and reconciliation
  • Plan and execute procurement and purchasing in coordination with operations and finance teams
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency
  • Monitor stock movement, minimize wastage, pilferage, and expiry losses
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and SOPs
  • Coordinate logistics and inter-location stock transfers between Shillong and Ri Bhoi units
  • Prepare MIS reports, stock reports, and purchase summaries for management review
  • Support opening of new outlets or properties with store setup and stocking
  • Lead and supervise store assistants or storekeepers, if applicable

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
  • 7–8 years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in hotels, resorts, or F&B
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality inventory categories (F&B, housekeeping, engineering, etc.)
  • Experience managing multiple locations is highly preferred
  • Good negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems/software
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Well verse with local market
