The Opportunity: Guardian of Inventory & Efficiency

Store Manager

We are not just looking for a supervisor; we need a "Material Custodian" who understands that in the packaging industry, inventory accuracy directly impacts production timelines and profitability. You will ensure that every roll of film, every pallet of paper, and every chemical drum is accounted for, stored correctly, and issued efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Inventory Control:

  Maintain 100% stock accuracy through rigorous daily cycle counts and monthly physical audits. Ensure physical stock matches ERP data at all times.

• Material Preservation:

  oversee the proper storage of sensitive packaging materials (VCI films, papers, chemicals) to prevent spoilage, humidity damage, or shelf-life expiration (FIFO/FEFO strict adherence).

• Inbound & Outbound Management:

  Supervise the receipt of raw materials (GRN creation, quality checks) and the timely dispatch of finished goods to customers, ensuring zero dispatch errors.

• Space & Layout Optimization:

  Implement

  5S methodologies

  to organize the warehouse floor, optimize storage space, and ensure safe material handling workflows.

• Scrap & Waste Reduction:

  Actively monitor dead stock and scrap generation. Propose strategies to utilize non-moving inventory and minimize wastage.

• Team Leadership:

  Lead, train, and discipline a team of storekeepers, loaders, and material handlers to ensure high productivity and safety compliance.

   You do not tolerate mismatches between physical stock and system data. You investigate every variance until it is resolved.

2. Packaging Material Expertise:

   You understand the specific storage requirements of packaging raw materials (e.g., controlling moisture levels for paper/desiccants, preventing telescoping in film rolls).

3. Process Enforcer:

   You are strict about documentation. No material leaves or enters the store without a valid slip/gate pass. You do not bypass processes for "urgency."

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:

  8–10 years of dedicated Store/Warehouse management experience.

  Must have significant experience in the Packaging or Polymer Manufacturing industry.

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.

• ERP Proficiency:

  Strong hands-on experience with ERP software (SAP,

  Odoo

  , or similar) is mandatory. You must be comfortable generating reports and analyzing stock trends.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in MS Excel , Odoo for inventory reporting.

• Leadership:

  Proven ability to manage labor and warehouse staff effectively.

• Safety Compliance:

  Knowledge of industrial safety standards and material handling equipment (Forklifts, Stackers).
