We are looking for a Store Manager who is well-groomed, professional, and has excellent communication skills to lead our store to success. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring outstanding customer service. This individual will also foster a positive store environment, embodying the company's values and ensuring the store meets its performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Drive sales goals and develop strategies to exceed performance targets.
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service by leading by example and addressing customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive shopping environment by ensuring all staff are approachable, well-groomed, and have the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Monitor customer feedback and adjust strategies as needed to improve satisfaction.
- Inventory & Stock Management:
- Oversee stock levels and inventory control to ensure products are available and well-stocked.
- Manage product displays and ensure they align with company visual merchandising guidelines.
- Perform regular stock checks and minimize shrinkage through effective loss prevention strategies.
- Ensure proper ordering and restocking of products as needed, coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
- Store Operations:
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and that all health and safety standards are met.
- Manage store security systems, cash handling, and financial transactions.
- Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Lead by example with a well-groomed, professional appearance that reflects the company’s brand standards.
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, and customers to ensure smooth store operations.
- Ensure team members have clear communication regarding store goals, promotions, and expectations.
- Motivate and inspire the team, providing clear direction and support to help them meet individual and collective goals.
- Marketing & Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote sales events, promotions, and new products.
- Ensure all promotional materials are well displayed and that in-store promotions are executed correctly.
- Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in business or retail management is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
