Job Description

Key Responsibilities Staff Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the performance of store staff to foster a positive work environment and achieve business objectives.  Sales & Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals, and monitor and analyze sales data for areas of improvement.  Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, ensure merchandise availability, manage stock control, and conduct regular inventory counts.  Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service, train staff on product knowledge and service standards, and handle customer complaints professionally.  Store Operations: Manage daily store operations, maintain a clean and organized environment, and ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety rules, and security measures.  Visual Merchandising: Collaborate on creating and maintaining appealing in-store displays and visual merchandising to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience.  Financial Management: Manage the store budget, monitor expenses, control costs, and analyze financial reports to improve performance.  Loss Prevention: Implement security measures to prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss.  Administrative Tasks: Handle HR tasks such as attendance, leaves, and disciplinary actions, and prepare reports on sales and inventory.  Essential Skills and Qualifications Leadership Skills: The ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.  Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent customer experiences and resolve issues.  Inventory Management: Expertise in managing stock levels and controlling inventory.  Sales & Marketing: Knowledge of sales strategies and the ability to implement marketing initiatives to drive sales.  Organizational & Multitasking Abilities: Strong skills for managing various tasks and responsibilities efficiently.  Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with retail management software and Microsoft Office.  Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with staff, customers, and head office.  Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve issues that arise in day-to-day operations.
