Job Description

As a Store Manager, your role involves meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, completing store administration, and maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards. Additionally, you will report on buying trends, customer needs, and profits, while also proposing innovative ideas to increase market share. Conducting personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and dealing with issues from staff or customers will be part of your responsibilities. You are expected to be a shining example of good behavior and high performance, and to protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment. Furthermore, you will determine marketing strategy changes based on operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
