Store Keeper

Job Summary: We are seeking a Store Keeper with proven experience and in-depth knowledge of Architectural Hardware and Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) components. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in managing industrial stores, handling specialized products and raw materials, and ensuring smooth inventory operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials. Ensure proper stocking, storage, labeling, and identification of items specific to architectural hardware and MIM. Handle inventory of products such as: Architectural Hardware: Hinges, locks, handles, door closers, bolts, brackets, and other fittings. MIM Industry Items: MIM raw materials (feedstock), sintered components, molds, dies, tools, and precision parts. Inspect incoming material quality and quantity as per purchase orders/specifications. Issue materials as per job requirements/work orders in coordination with production and planning teams. Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. Coordinate with the procurement department for timely replenishment of critical stock. Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store. Use ERP or inventory management software for tracking material movement. Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management. Required Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of architectural hardware products and MIM process-related materials. Familiar with product codes, specifications, and industry standards. Knowledge of raw materials such as stainless steel powder, binders, lubricants used in MIM. Experience in handling tooling inventory: molds, dies, fixtures. Proficient in inventory management systems (ERP, Tally, SAP, etc.). Basic understanding of material safety, storage conditions, and shelf life. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/specifications is a plus. Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in Architectural Hardware or Metal Injection Moulding industry. Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or relevant field preferred. Computer literate (MS Office, Inventory Software). Soft Skills: Detail-oriented and organized. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
