Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Steward to join our team at The Manohar, with 0-2 years of experience. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibility

Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive and responsive to guests' needs.
Maintain high levels of knowledge about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Ensure all areas of the restaurant or bar are clean and well-maintained.
Collaborate with other staff members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and other beverages, along with an interest in learning more about them.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills is desirable.
