Key responsibilities Guest service: Greeting and attending to guests, providing menus, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Cleaning and sanitation: Washing dishes, glassware, and silverware; cleaning tables and dining areas; and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and storage rooms. Support for kitchen and service staff: Assisting chefs and servers with their daily tasks, which can include transporting and storing cookware and utensils. Event support: Providing beverage service and other support during banquets, weddings, and parties.
