Job Title: Sales Manager – Steel & Power Division

Job Purpose:
To drive sales and revenue growth for the Steel & Power division by developing strategic customer relationships, expanding market presence, and ensuring achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify and acquire new clients in the steel and power sector (e.g., infrastructure companies, fabricators, distributors, etc.)
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business goals and targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Address client needs, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Team Management (if applicable)
- Lead and motivate a team of sales executives or territory managers.
- Monitor performance and provide necessary training and support.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
- Analyze sales data and recommend improvements to strategy.
- Pricing & Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients within company guidelines.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and service.
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and marketing teams.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the steel, power, or heavy manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of steel products (TMT bars, billets, coils, etc.)
- Knowledge of the power sector (if applicable)
- Familiarity with regional markets and client segments
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proven sales track record
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
