Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to the quality engineering team, helping to develop skills in manual testing techniques, best practices, and testing tools.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of testing with product requirements and deliverables.

Mentor and guide junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high quality.

Lead complex end-to-end testing efforts, including planning, execution, and analysis of test results across various stages of the SDLC.

Establish and track key quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with product quality throughout the development cycle.

Drive initiatives to improve test data management and efficiency of test cycles. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,or related field.

Minimum 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with a strong focus on manual testing.

In-depth knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Testrail).

Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and continuous integration processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail in identifying defects and inconsistencies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and documenting test results.

Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, ensuring a shared understanding of quality goals."
