Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that symplr software solutions are delivered to clients with the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in all stages of the software development lifecycle, which includes designing and executing test plans, implementing an automated test strategy, conducting thorough regression testing before release, and collaborating with the team to uphold quality best practices. As a member of an agile development team, you will actively participate in daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and other collaborative sessions. Your key tasks will involve working closely with engineering and product teams to devise a comprehensive test strategy for the features under development. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a scalable and reliable automated test framework, as well as managing the necessary test infrastructure. Your role will also require you to collaborate with other quality engineers and team members to execute the test strategy effectively. You will design, develop, and execute tests based on both functional and non-functional requirements, analyze test results, identify issues, and report any defects. Additionally, you will escalate any risks and dependencies encountered during the testing process. To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to work seamlessly with onshore and offshore teams. Hands-on experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have a proactive approach, be passionate about your work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Previous experience working in an agile environment with distributed engineering teams is advantageous. Furthermore, you should demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of web and mobile application stacks. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field is required, along with 5-7+ years of experience in testing SaaS products. Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Postman, JMeter, and ReadyAPI is preferred. Experience in testing native mobile applications (iOS, Android), AWS, programming languages like C#, Java, Ruby, web services (REST, SOAP), and test management tools like Azure DevOps and Zephyr will be beneficial. In addition to technical skills, symplr values certain qualities in its employees, known as HEART. To thrive in this environment, you must be humble, effective, adaptable, remarkable, and transparent. As a team member, you are expected to be self-aware, respectful, focused on adding value, curious and open to change, exceptional in your contributions, and honest in sharing knowledge.,
