Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead – Network and Systems Administrator to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and migrating Active Directory and Domain environments, as well as leading VMware infrastructure projects, to ensure robust and efficient IT operations. This role includes team leadership responsibilities, performance evaluation, shift management, and overseeing a complex IT infrastructure based on Microsoft Windows Server Technologies and VMwar e Key Responsibi lit ie: • Lead Active Directory and Domain Migrations: Take ownership of all Active Directory and Domain Migration projects, ensuring seamless integration, minimal downtime, and adherence to best prac t ics. • Manage and Oversee VMware Infrastructure: Lead the administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of VMware environments to support virtualized workloads e ffi cienly. • Remotely manage Windows and VMwar e sysems. • Perform Level 2 and Level 3 systems adm inistrtion. • Lead a team of Network and Systems Administrators, providing guidance, support, a n d mentrship. • Evaluate team performance regularly, offering constructive feedback and identify ing trainin needs. • Manage and schedule shifts, ensuring 24/7 coverage for uninter r upted ITsupport. • Recover incidents, implement changes, and participate in strategicprojects. • Create and publish regular reports for project s handled b the team. • Coordinate with hardware and software ven dors for relted issues. • Communicate status updates on incident resolution, change execution, an d projects asappropriate. • Support a wide and varie client base. • Communicate and negotiate with users, specialist s , other staff,and suppliers. • Install and configure Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, an d 2 022, IIS, DHCP, nd DNS Servers. • Expertise in Active Directory management, migrations, and domain restructuring to support organizational g rowth and technoogy transitions. • Extensive Virtualization Experience with VMware and Hyper-V for provisioning, managing, an d securing virtualzed environments. • Configure and troublesh o ot VMware Horizon or remote clients. • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365, including mig rat ions from other emai hosting providers. • Configure and troubleshoo t Sophos and SymantecEndpoint Protection. • Knowledge of Mobile Deice Management (MDM). • Knowledge of Remote Monitoring and Man a gement (RMM) tools lik ConnectWise Automate. • Maint ain backups with Veeam, MSP60, Datto, and Veritas. • Configure and troubleshoot Unifi Access Points, Soni c WALL, Sophos, Proofpoint and VoIP phone systems. • Mai ntain pre-packaged softwar applications on the LAN. • Troubleshoot PCs and laptops, as well as network troubleshooting, installation, and troubleshooting of netork printers and sca nne rs. • Administer IT departmnt policies and procedures. • Maintain a l og of all detected problems nd team performance metr ics . • Troubleshoot wired or wirless network issues remotely. • E x perience with RingCentral and ffice@Hand VOIP phone systems. • E xperience supporting customers bsed in the US and UKi s a p l u s. • Fluent in English.
