As part of our expansion, we’re seeking a Technical Support Engineer to help ensure exceptional user experience for our sellers and customers.

Role Overview :

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be the bridge between our users and our technical team. You’ll troubleshoot platform issues, provide prompt and effective support to sellers and buyers and collaborate with our developers to resolve technical challenges.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining high uptime, ensuring smooth operations and helping our users get the most out of ipshopy.com.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Respond to support tickets, chat and email inquiries from sellers and buyers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to website performance, payments, orders and user accounts.
  • Escalate bugs and system errors to the development team with detailed documentation.
  • Provide guidance and training to users on platform features and functionalities.
  • Monitor system health, logs and uptime alerts using appropriate tools.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to test new features and releases.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
  • Ensure all issues are resolved within agreed service-level timelines (SLAs).

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in technical support or system administration, ideally within an eCommerce or SaaS environment.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom multi-vendor systems).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
