Key Objective / Purpose Of The Job

Shall be responsible for managing the projects for agile delivery of concurrent network implementation & customer delivery projects across Fibre Technologies with PMO governance & project execution supportMajor Activities & Responsibilities

Project Management & PMO

Manage end-to-end project management from business case preparation to planning to execution to closure to achieve the project goals of scope, time, cost & qualityConduct periodic updates and reviews to ensure project stays on track and delays are managed to ensure appropriate jeopardy and risk management.Develop, maintain & publish dashboards & reports on a regular basis to all stakeholders about progress, adjustments & strategyDrive mitigation of delivery issues & timelines through effective escalation with cross-functional teams & senior managementDrive implementation of industry best practices, techniques and standards for continuous improvement of project executionResponsible for periodic DashboardsMaintain relevant project related documents for future references

Project Execution Support

Manage necessary communication with internal suppliers - Deployment, SCM, Finance, HR, Operations – to ensure smooth functioning of material management, invoicing & payments, contract resource administration & other project support processesManage necessary communication with external suppliers – Material partners (OEM), Service partners (System Integrators), Manpower agencies – by assigning tasks & communicating expected deliverables pertaining to key parameters like on-time deliveries, quality adherence & administrative requirementsImplement necessary checks & balances to ensure that project deliveries are also in line with safety, quality, audit & compliance obligations of internal/external customers/agencies

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree -Telecommunications / Electronics / Computer ScienceProject Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 CertificationWork Experience - Domain
Experience in Wireline (OSP/IBD) Fibre domain
Proven ability of successfully handling Network Deployment projectsWorking knowledge / exposure of support functions (Finance, SCM) & operations teamsExperience of operating in Matrix Project team structureFamiliarity with project management software tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, PM methodologies, TL9000 and other best practicesBehavioral
