What you will do:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the systems administration team; oversee task planning, performance evaluation, and skills development.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable & secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Collaborate with Sales/Pre-Sales teams to develop cloud solutions, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses.
- Administer and maintain Linux & Windows-based servers, ensuring system availability, security, and performance.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), configuration management, and automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.
- Manage containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker & Kubernetes.
- Perform capacity planning, cost optimization, resource provisioning, and infrastructure performance monitoring.
- Drive security and compliance initiatives, including patching, vulnerability management, and identity & access controls.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalation support.
- Establish and maintain system documentation, SOPs, best practices, and architectural diagrams.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to improve systems and processes.
- Coordinate DR/BCP strategies and ensure resilience of infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL/standard support processes.
- 7–8 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
- Minimum 3 years of team-lead or managerial experience leading systems/DevOps engineers.
- Proven experience designing/implementing cloud architectures on AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Pre-sales knowledge including solutioning, PoCs, proposal documentation, and client technical discussions.
- Strong expertise in:
- Linux & Windows server administration
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Routing)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Configuration management & scripting (Ansible, Shell, Python, PowerShell)
- Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting, system analysis, & problem-resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- Preferred Certifications (Any or Multiple)
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a strong advantage.
- DevOps/Automation certifications preferred.
- Experience in cost-efficient cloud architecture design.
- Exposure to monitoring technologies (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Datadog, etc.)
