Role Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Security Officer
to oversee corporate security operations at high-value IT and financial industry client sites. The role demands vigilance, professionalism, and operational expertise to safeguard employees, visitors, and critical business assets. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between frontline officers and the site leadership team, ensuring
discipline, compliance, and incident readiness
at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations Oversight
- Supervise day-to-day operations of deployed guards, access control, and CCTV monitoring.
- Conduct site patrols, post inspections, and ensure adherence to client SOPs.
- Monitor visitor management, badge issuance, and access permissions.
- Incident Management
- Act as the first escalation point for on-ground incidents.
- Document and report incidents to the Site Security Lead and client stakeholders.
- Support investigation of thefts, misconduct, or security breaches.
- Emergency Preparedness
- Assist in conducting fire drills, evacuation exercises, and crisis response protocols.
- Ensure all staff are trained in emergency SOPs.
- Provide on-ground leadership during emergencies.
- Team Supervision & Training
- Lead and mentor a team of security officers and guards.
- Conduct daily briefings, grooming checks, and on-the-job training refreshers.
- Support manpower deployment, shift scheduling, and attendance tracking.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain incident logs, visitor registers, and daily activity reports.
- Ensure compliance with PSARA, labor laws, and client-specific security requirements.
- Submit daily/weekly MIS reports to Site Security Lead.
- Stakeholder & Client Coordination
- Act as an approachable point of contact for client employees and visitors.
- Support client leadership during audits, inspections, and VIP movements.
- Coordinate with facilities and admin teams for smooth site functioning.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory).
- Diploma in Security Management preferred.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in corporate/industrial security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in IT parks, BFSI (Banking/Financial Services), or multinational corporate environments preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent spoken and written English (non-negotiable).
- Fluency in the local language of the posting location (non-negotiable).
- Hindi desirable but not compulsory.
- Strong supervisory and team management skills.
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and visitor management tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ethical, disciplined, and capable of handling sensitive situations with composure.
Compensation
- Salary: Negotiable, depending on performance during interview.
- Typical Range: ₹6–8 LPA CTC, flexible for outstanding candidates.
