Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Scientist to join our team in Bengaluru, with 5-10 years of experience.

Roles and Responsibility

Conduct hands-on work to advance developmental products from concept to commercialization.
Apply scientific principles to product development and experimental projects.
Communicate progress on product development programs to R&D leadership, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Conduct literature searches on novel products and processes for Sealed Air and apply findings to benefit active projects and existing products.
Collaborate with sales, account representatives, and package design teams to address customer needs for Protective Packaging products.
Work with R&D and business leaders to identify key technology gaps and opportunities in innovation pipelines.
Ensure timely completion of product development projects with agreed-upon priorities.
Travel as required to support Sealed Air production facilities and customer sites.
Identify and assess new technologies, business growth potential, and development resources; track competitive activities to support technology roadmaps and stay at the forefront of technology to maintain competitiveness while maintaining personal and workplace safety.

Job Requirements

Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in formulation development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of authoring technical reports and presenting to internal groups.
Ability to work globally with cultural and business sensitivity.
Strong business acumen and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritize, focus teams, and deliver accurate, timely results.
Commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
