Senior Engineer/Assist Manager - Technical Sales

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical/Chemical

Experience Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in technical sales or a related engineering role, with a proven track record of success in B2B sales

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and market trends
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts to clients

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement effective technical sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Cold Calling and Lead Generation:
  • Conduct cold calls to potential clients across PAN India to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Identify and qualify leads through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Market Research:
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities across PAN India.
  • Identify opportunities for product development and improvements.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team and clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Negotiations and Contract Management:
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts.
  • Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Sales Forecasting:
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and set performance targets.
  • Ensure alignment of sales forecasts with business objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Training and Development:
  • Mentor and provide training to junior sales engineers and team members.
  • Promote continuous learning and development within the sales team.
  • Innovation and Improvement:
  • Identify and implement innovative sales techniques and practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team.
