Job Description

As an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, administration, and maintenance of all devices related to the entire IT infrastructure, including data center operations, servers, firewalls, network devices, storage, cybersecurity, virtual desktop infrastructure, mail servers, and cloud hosting. Your role will involve leading a team and ensuring the 24/7 availability of the IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Manage on-premise data center infrastructure, including physical servers, enterprise storage, firewalls, and switches, ensuring high availability. - Host and administer applications on Linux and Windows platforms, utilizing web servers like Apache Tomcat and IIS. - Implement and manage UTM/NGW firewalls, web application firewalls, endpoint protection, load balancers, switches, and routers. - Administer databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server at the server level. - Utilize VMware virtualization technologies, backup strategies, disaster recovery operations, and DR drills. - Ensure application, database, and data center security compliance with industry standards and frameworks. - Proficient in AWS cloud operations, GitLab DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments. - Handle end-user computing support, covering components like routers, switches, SAN switches, VLANs, firewalls, WAN optimization, and more. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Technology/Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communications Engineering or relevant field. Master's Degree is preferable. - Certifications in IT Infrastructure/Hardware/Software/DBMSs/Networks/Virtualizations/Cyber Security are advantageous. - Minimum 18 years of experience in IT infrastructure configuration, administration, and maintenance, with 5 years in a managerial role. - Proficiency in Linux & MS-Windows server administration, Oracle, MS-SQL Plus & PostgreSQL DBMSs, and DevOps CI/CD platforms. - Strong communication skills, client interaction abilities, and internal communication proficiency.
