Sr. Merchandiser

1. Client Communication & Order Handling

Understand client requirements, specifications, and timelines.

Manage sampling, approvals, and feedback from clients.

Maintain regular communication for updates, changes, and clarifications.

2. Product Development & Sampling

Coordinate with the design and sampling team for development.

Ensure timely execution of samples as per client specs.

Present and get sample approvals.

3. Costing & Order Confirmation

Prepare accurate cost sheets for each style/uniform set.

Negotiate with suppliers for raw material costs.

Finalize order quantities, prices, and delivery schedules.

4. Production Coordination

Plan and monitor production schedules.

Coordinate with production, cutting, stitching, and finishing departments.

Ensure quality checks are done at every stage.

5. Fabric & Trims Sourcing

Ensure timely procurement of fabric, trims, accessories, and other raw materials.

Work with reliable vendors and ensure cost and quality control.

6. Quality Assurance

Ensure quality parameters and client standards are maintained throughout.

Coordinate pre-production and inline inspections.

7. Logistics & Delivery

Track packing and dispatch as per timelines.

Prepare documentation for dispatch and ensure smooth client delivery.

8. Reporting & MIS

Maintain order status reports and update management regularly.

Analyze delays or issues and provide solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate in Textile/Fashion/Merchandising (Diploma or Degree)

5–8 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in uniforms or garment industry

Strong understanding of garment production cycles and fabric types

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Knowledge of costing, T&A planning, and order management

Proficient in Excel, Tally/ERP, and basic merchandising software

Detail-oriented and organized

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
