Key Responsibilities: Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and ledgers. Enter financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., TALLY ERP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel). Ensure accuracy of entries and the timely recording of all transactions. Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily, weekly, or monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that financial records align with bank statements. Investigate and resolve discrepancies. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and manage supplier invoices and payment schedules. Ensure timely processing of client invoices, including following up on overdue payments. Assist with credit control by monitoring outstanding accounts. Expense Tracking and Reporting: Track company expenses and receipts. Prepare basic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Assist in preparing reports for audits or internal reviews. Payroll Support (if applicable): Assist in preparing payroll by gathering employee data such as time sheets and overtime hours. Support the finance team in ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. VAT and Tax Support: Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings. Help ensure that taxes are calculated and paid on time. Financial Documentation: File and organize financial documents for easy retrieval. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations. General Administrative Support: Assist with any other administrative duties within the accounting department, such as preparing reports, communicating with vendors, and handling correspondence. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar capacity. Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. 1. Product Development: Doing new development based on themes and trends given by buyer by making new garment style, embroidery techniques etc. 2. Range Development: Submission of new range to the buyer to provide an opportunity to select from a variety of product lines. Explaining the buyer's requirement to the masters, embroider and tailors etc to ensure that right sample are delivered on time to have successful selling. Developing files of new styles with fabric, laces embroidery techniques, size, measurements and different trims etc for collection. 3. Costing &Negotiations: Submitting the costing for the submitted sampling range & negotiating the price for same ‘to ensure mutual profitable business by achieving financial targets. 4. Ordering of Fabric: Ordering of greige fabrics once the order is confirmed. Making dyeing and printing program for the order. 5. Handling Lab Test: Handling lab test for all the buyer as per buyer standard. Formatting wash care for each style as per the requirement of the style. 6. Sampling & Production: Submitting all the approval sample in trims & planning the production by making critical path/ T & A plan, and ensuring that shipment goes on time.
