Sr. Manager (Third Party Logistics And Warehousing)

Job Profile: Sr. Manager (Third Party Logistics and Warehousing)   Key Responsibilities:   ·        Business Development & Growth o   Lead the company’s venture into Warehousing and 3PL business. o   Generate new business leads from existing cargo and transport customers. o   Identify, engage, and convert online leads into business opportunities. o   Prepare and deliver tailored proposals to prospective clients. o   Provide market insights and strategic recommendations for expansion. ·        Operations & Vendor Management o   Oversee end-to-end warehousing activities and ensure operational efficiency. o   Identify, negotiate, and onboard warehouse vendors to increase storage capacity. o   Monitor warehouse utilization, efficiency, and cost optimization. o   Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and quality standards. ·        Team Leadership & Management o   Lead and motivate a team to achieve business and operational goals. o   Build team capabilities through mentoring, training, and effective delegation. ·        Strategic Support & Reporting o   Provide periodic feedback and reports to the Director on business performance, market opportunities, and expansion strategies. o   Support management in designing new service offerings and operational models. o   Take up additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director. Desired Skills & Qualifications ·        Strong experience in 3PL, logistics, and warehousing operations. ·        Proven track record in business development and client acquisition. ·        Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and networking skills. ·        Effective leadership, team management, and communication abilities. ·        Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/WMS systems preferred. ·        Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. ·        Minimum relevant experience of 8-10 years Location ·        Andheri (Primary) with travel as required. Salary:   Ø 40-50k (In hand) Ø Incentives based on performance
