What you’ll do: Maintenance Manager to oversee the efficient plant maintenance and safety of our organization’s facilities. As the Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible to manage complete preventive & breakdown maintenance, repairs and spare parts management. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of facility technicians, 3rd parties and coordinating all aspects of investments and facility management and compliance. Candidate should have exposure of handling a green/brown field project or manufacturing expansion project. YOU’RE GOOD AT: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation and functionality of the plant. Oversee the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring the timely completion of work orders and adherence to quality standards. Coordinate and prioritize breakdown management tasks, managing own resources and co-ordinating with 3rd party service providers effectively and optimizing workflow efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and health assessments of our machines and manufacturing equipment to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues. Manage vendor relationships and contracts, including obtaining quotes, negotiating pricing and terms, and supervising the performance of outsourced services. Maintain accurate records and documentation of our facilities including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels. Develop and monitor investment and maintenance budgets, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Manufacturing, HR-ADMIN, IT to address facility-related needs and support their operational requirements. Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in facility management and maintenance techniques. Should have hands on experience on VTL & Boring machines Knowledge of Siemens system controller. Formulating action plans for correction of repetitive failure through implementing kaizen to reduce MTBF & MTTR. Facilitating the overall development of team members through effective & need based training and proper work allocation. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering, or a related field and relevant work experience of 15+ years. Minimum 5+ years of maintenance of heavy mechanical manufacturing workshop with following facilities: Large turning & boring machines of 100+ Ton’s capacity & diameter 8 metre+ CNC machines with 3 axis and 5 axis. Fabrication facilities with welding & grinding machines, stress relieving equipment’s, hydraulic press & rolling machines. Facilities for shot blasting, painting and pressure testing units. EOT cranes range from 10T to 100 T. Experience in handling of 1 or 2 green/brown field projects or plant expansion projects. Proven experience in maintenance of heavy machines & utilities at a leadership role and problem solving to make the machines / plant running. Proven experience in plant maintenance or facility management for complete facilities. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks. Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems and other relevant software tools. Good understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and to collaborate with various stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and contractors.
