Ltd., a renowned export house with over 30 years of expertise in crafting premium leather handbags, accessories and belts Position : Sr Internal Auditor Reports To : CFO Place of Posting : Kasba Industrial Area, Kolkata Responsibilities & Key Deliverables : Risk Assessment: Internal auditors assess the organization's risks and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management efforts. Internal Control Evaluation: They evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls designed to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and promote operational efficiency.· Compliance Assurance: Internal auditors ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Operational Efficiency Improvement: They identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness. Financial Audits: Internal auditors conduct financial audits to verify the accuracy and reliability of financial records. Fraud Investigation: Internal auditors investigate potential fraud and other irregularities. Reporting and Communication: They prepare reports and communicate their findings and recommendations to management. Advisory Role: They provide advice and guidance to management on various matters related to risk management and internal controls. Process Improvement: They identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Job Requiremtents Experience (Nature, Function & preferred organisation., if any) : 5 to 7 years’ experience in a garment manufacturing company as Internal Auditor. Qualification Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce and 5 to 7 years of experience in Internal Audit, with a preference for advanced degrees. Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and diplomacy skills, with fluency in English and potentially other languages.
