Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts to independently manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations for our engineering/trading business. The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong hands-on exposure to SAP Business One (SAP B1), and the ability to work independently with smart, efficient working practices.

This role involves managing accounting, taxation, compliance, MIS, audits, banking, and profitability analysis, while ensuring adherence to statutory and corporate governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Manage purchase, expense, AP/AR accounting, vendor payments, and MSME compliance
• Timely recording of import and local purchase invoices and expense bills with correct GST and TDS compliance
• Handle bank reconciliations, customer/vendor reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny

MIS & Profitability

• Prepare and manage MIS reports for local management
• Generate profitability and variance analysis reports
• Support budget preparation, monitoring, and cost control initiatives

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST, Income Tax, and related statutory compliances
• Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits, and IFC requirements
• Basic understanding of Transfer Pricing and ODI regulations

Payroll & Statutory

• Manage payroll accounting including TDS, PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax
• Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance

Banking & Treasury

• Manage banking operations including CC limits, term loans, and liaison with banks
• Handle import/export transactions, documentation, and reconciliations

Capex & Fixed Assets

• Support Capex planning, approvals, capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets

Corporate & Secretarial Support

• Manage ROC compliances, Board and Shareholder meetings
• Handle Demat of shares and monitor investment opportunities
• Support insurance policy coordination and claim processing

Qualifications

• Post-Graduate in Commerce
• CA-Inter/Final or ICWA-Inter/Final

Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in an engineering sector or similar trading industry
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1) – Mandatory
• Practical industry experience in managing banking relationships, CC limits, and term loans

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: ₹51,800 – ₹66,800 per month (as discussed / based on experience)
