Job Description

Senior Executive – Human Resources

Location: Wada, Maharashtra

Experience: 5–10 years in HR roles, ideally within pharma manufacturing or factory environments

Qualification: BBA /MBA in HR or any related field

We seeking a proactive and experienced Senior HR Executive to oversee essential HR operations at our Wada facility. This role is a hands-on opportunity to drive attendance, payroll, performance appraisals, and legal compliance, ensuring smooth HR operations in alignment with the Factory Act.

*Job Summary*

The Senior Executive – HR will manage end-to-end HR responsibilities with a focus on foundational practices—attendance tracking, payroll processing, performance evaluations, and statutory compliance under the Factory Act. You should be skilled in Excel, articulate in communication, and committed to maintaining workplace harmony.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Attendance & Payroll: Manage daily attendance records, calculate hours, and assist in accurate payroll preparation. Ensure punctual filing and compliance with statutory mandates.
  • Performance Appraisal: Coordinate periodic performance reviews. Assist managers in documenting evaluations and identifying training needs or improvement plans.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Factory Act and relevant labor laws (e.g. Working Hours, Overtime, Leave regulations). Assist with audits and documentation maintenance.
  • HR Administration & Reporting: Maintain employee files, HR reports, and trackers using Excel. Prepare routine HR data—headcount, leaves, absenteeism, etc.—for leadership.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between management and staff. Address queries related to attendance, payroll, leaves, and performance. Escalate issues as needed to maintain workforce engagement and morale.
  • Excel Management: Prepare and update detailed Excel sheets for attendance, shifts, payroll components, and appraisal scores to support HR operations and audits.

*Skills*

  • Strong Excel skills—formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and report generation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and preferably Marathi/Hindi.
  • Fundamental knowledge of labor statutes and the Factory Act.
  • High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
