Export Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of

    Export Accounting

    , including documentation, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate and support

    audit-related work

    and liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage

    banking operations

    , including regular follow-ups with banks, preparation of required documents, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform

    Bank Reconciliation

    , verify

    bank charges

    , and ensure timely updates.
  • Monitor

    Accounts Payable & Receivable

    , ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare and verify

    Payroll

    , including salary processing, statutory deductions, and related system entries.
  • Assist in the

    finalization of accounts

    and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with

    GST filing

    and statutory regulations (added advantage).
  • Implement and manage

    automated financial and accounting reporting systems

    .
  • Generate and analyze financial reports, identifying discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and support monthly/quarterly/year-end close processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for smooth functioning of finance-related tasks.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.Com

    degree (mandatory); additional certifications in accounting or finance are a plus.
  • Minimum

    9+ years

    of hands-on experience in accounting, particularly

    export-related work

    .

  • Proficient in Tally ERP-9

    and other accounting/financial reporting software.
  • Good understanding of

    GST

    ,

    TDS

    , and

    Indian accounting standards

    .
  • Strong

    computer skills

    including MS Excel, Word, and financial software tools.
  • Excellent

    communication and coordination skills

    .
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
