Sr Deal Strategy SpecialistRoleThe Senior Deal Strategy Specialist plays a key role in managing complex order creation deal structuring and contract execution for Googles services The role ensures accuracy compliance and operational excellence across the deal lifecycle from opportunity validation to order form finalization and renewal The specialist also acts as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for peers ensuring smooth collaboration between Field Sales Representatives FSR SMEs QA and Deal Desk teamsKey ResponsibilitiesOrder and Contract ManagementReview and validate sales requests and customer data submitted by FSRsCreate and finalize complex order forms contracts including order IDs service SKUs legal and billing informationEnsure order documentation adheres to internal compliance and policy standardsManage order updates and amendments in systems such as Vector Q and SAPSupport automation and standardization initiatives within order creation workflowsRenewals and AmendmentsOwn the end to end process for renewals and service extensionsValidate renewal order details in CLOUD Helpdesk Order Management Knowledge Base and Q toolsCoordinate with Sales and Finance teams to ensure timely renewals and accurate billing alignmentDeal Structuring and ComplianceConduct Approval vs Policy Approval vs Contract and Contract vs Booking validationsIdentify deviations potential risks and escalate exceptions per policyCollaborate with SMEs and QA for reviews and implement corrective feedbackMaintain documentation traceability for all order and contract recordsStakeholder Collaboration and SupportPartner with QA SMEs and Sales Ops for smooth deal execution and policy adherenceProvide inputs to process improvement and quality initiatives based on recurring issuesQuality and GovernanceEnsure compliance with SOPs and zero error standardsAnalyze QA feedback and drive error proofing through best practicesSupport training and mentoring of junior DSS agentsTrack and maintain accuracy 99 and first pass yield 95

Skills And Qualifications

Graduate degree in Commerce Business Administration or Finance preferred3 5 years of experience in deal desk renewals order management or contract operationsStrong knowledge of contract lifecycle management CLM and order fulfillment systemsProven ability to handle complex deal structures and multistakeholder coordinationProficiency in Google Workspace SAP Salesforce or Q platformsExcellent analytical skills compliance orientation and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagementWillingness to work in rotational 18x7 shiftsBehavioral CompetenciesAccountability Takes ownership of deal accuracy and timelinesCollaboration Works cross functionally with QA SME and Ops for issue resolutionCritical Thinking Anticipates issues and proposes compliant efficient solutionsQuality Focus Champions first time right outcomes and process consistency
