Sr. Design Engineer

Are you a skilled Design Engineer with a passion for hydraulic pump design? Rotech Pumps, a global leader in industrial pump manufacturing, is looking for an experienced and innovative professional to join our Design & Engineering Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, model, and analyze hydraulic pumps and components using Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precision in engineering drawings.
• Perform hydraulic and mechanical calculations to optimize pump performance and efficiency.
• Develop engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications for new products and custom solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Stay updated on industry standards and contribute to continuous product improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic pump design and engineering.
• Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic pump design, performance calculations, and material selection.
• In-depth knowledge of GD&T principles and their application.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, including ISO 9001, is an asset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
