Role overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that drive strategic value for our organization and clients. You will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights, guiding data-driven decision-making, and shaping our data science strategy. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to manage end-to-end data science projects and mentor junior team members The role To support our continued growth and in line with our ambitious plans, we are looking to recruit and grow our business. The successful candidate(s) will have the following experience and attributes.

Expertise and experience

● 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.

● Advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

● Deep proficiency in Python and/or R, including experience with major ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

● Strong background in statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, and big data technologies.

● Experience with data engineering, data management, and building/maintaining relational databases

● Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques for effective communication of insights.

● Demonstrated ability to lead projects from conception to deployment, including MLOps and model monitoring practices.

● Experience mentoring junior data scientists and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Technical Leadership

● Develops and implements ML models and AI solutions that solve complex business problems

● Establishes ML development standards and best practices

● Leads technology selection for ML/AI components and tools

● Implements model monitoring and maintenance practices

● Ensures ethical AI principles are followed in solution development

● Drives continuous improvement in ML/AI development processes
