Job Description

As a Senior Associate, Vx Data Governance and Enablement at Pfizer, your role will involve owning and managing key products essential to the success of the Vaccines Data Strategy. These products include the U.S. Vaccines Tableau Site, Vx Data Governance, Vx Data Stewardship, and Vx Data Tech Stack. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across various departments to drive Pfizer's U.S. Vaccines ahead of its competition by leveraging data, analytics, and AI to redefine best practices and enhance access to life-saving vaccines. **Primary Responsibilities:** - **Data Enablement and Access:** You will facilitate data access through Tableau Self-Service and Data Depot, ensuring effective utilization of data assets and maintaining platform availability. - **Data Governance:** Oversee the establishment and maintenance of data standards to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulations. Lead the Vx Data Governance Council for strategic alignment on data and analytics. - **Data Stewardship:** Lead customer data stewardship in collaboration with stakeholders to maintain high-quality customer data for various purposes such as contracting discounts and customer reporting. **Secondary Responsibilities:** - **Data Education and Training:** Manage the data knowledge base using the Vaccelerator platform, develop educational materials, and deliver training sessions to enhance data fluency across the team. - **Innovation:** Explore new capabilities using advancements in AI to enable rapid decision-making within the U.S. Commercial Vx BU. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, in fields such as operations research, data science, statistics, or computer programming. - 3+ years of experience (Bachelor's) or 1+ year of experience (Master's) in data strategy, data management, or commercial analytics, preferably in the biopharma or healthcare industry. - Strong understanding of data sources used for vaccines commercial analytics and knowledge of data integration and data model design. - Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into data strategies. **Key Skills by Product:** - **U.S. Vaccines Tableau Site:** Tableau Site Administration, Data Management, Governance & Security. - **Vx Data Governance:** Strategic Data Management, Data Quality Management, Interpersonal Skills. - **Vx Data Stewardship:** Business Knowledge, Technical Skills, Analytical Skills, Interpersonal Skills. - **Vx Data Tech Stack Administration:** GitHub, MS Teams, S3, Snowflake.
