Role Overview:

The Senior Associate – Legal (Real Estate) will be responsible for handling all legal aspects related to real estate transactions, project due diligence, drafting and vetting of agreements, and ensuring compliance with applicable property laws and regulations. The role demands strong knowledge of real estate laws, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct title due diligence and property verification for land and real estate projects.
• Draft, review, and vet various agreements including Sale Deeds, Development Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Lease Deeds, MOUs, Power of Attorney, etc.
• Handle RERA documentation, registration, and compliance.
• Coordinate with external legal counsels, government authorities, and registration offices.
• Manage and monitor litigation and arbitration related to real estate matters.
• Provide legal opinions and advisory on land acquisition, redevelopment projects, and project clearances.
• Maintain updated knowledge of real estate laws, including Transfer of Property Act, MOFA, RERA, Stamp Duty and Registration Act, etc.
• Support internal departments such as Sales, Finance, and Projects with legal documentation and compliance.
• Ensure all contracts and documentation adhere to statutory requirements and organizational standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate legal practice, preferably with a developer or reputed law firm.
• Strong understanding of Maharashtra real estate laws and RERA compliance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle documentation independently and manage multiple assignments.
• High level of integrity, analytical ability, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
