Location - Kashipur (Dumdum)

Salary - Upto 35 k

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.

Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and trial balance preparation.

Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.

Prepare financial reports for management review.

2. Compliance & Audit

Ensure all financial transactions comply with statutory laws and company policies.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.

Prepare and submit GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory returns within deadlines.

Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist management in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.

Monitor actual financial performance versus budget and report variances.

Provide insights for cost control and profitability improvement.

4. Payables & Receivables Management

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.

Ensure timely vendor payments and follow-up for customer collections.

Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly.

5. Inventory & Cost Management (especially for manufacturing companies)

Monitor raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods valuation.

Verify stock reconciliation and coordinate with the production team for variance analysis.

Support costing of new products and margin analysis.

6. Banking & Cash Flow

Manage bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and cash flow statements.

Ensure optimum utilization of funds and timely deposits of receipts.

Liaise with banks for facilities like LC, BG, and working capital.

7. Team Supervision & Coordination

Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in their work.

Provide training and guidance to the accounting team.

Collaborate with other departments (sales, production, HR, etc.) for financial data.

8. MIS & Management Support

Prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports.

Provide data-driven insights to management for decision-making.

Support the finance department in strategic planning and business expansion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
