Sr. Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial records, with a strong focus on accuracy, timelines, and compliance. Prior experience in a manufacturing setup is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and finalization of accounts.
• Handling GST compliance, including returns filing, reconciliation, and coordination with consultants.
• Managing TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, return filing, and Form 16/16A generation.
• Performing bank reconciliations, RTGS/NEFT transactions, and monitoring fund flows.
• Maintaining books of accounts using Tally ERP and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Coordinating with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting cost analysis and inventory accounting related to manufacturing operations.
• Maintaining proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com / CA-Inter preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience as an Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
• Proven experience in bank reconciliation, RTGS/NEFT transactions, and journal entries.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Skills Required

• Accounting & Bookkeeping – Strong expertise in journal entries, ledger management, and reconciliations.
• GST & TDS Compliance – In-depth knowledge of returns, filings, and statutory requirements.
• Tally ERP – Hands-on operational experience in accounting software.
• Banking Operations – Experience in RTGS/NEFT transactions and bank reconciliation statements.
• Manufacturing Accounting – Understanding of inventory, costing, and production-related accounting.
• Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records.
• Time Management – Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet statutory deadlines.
• Communication Skills – Effective coordination with internal teams, auditors, and consultants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
