Job Title: Senior Accountant

About the Company:
Cubix Digital Solutions is a fast-growing back-office and operations partner for Apex Jewellers Limited, a UK- and Ireland-based jewellery group that operates three leading retail brands – Diamond Heaven, Shining Diamonds, and Diamond Quarter – with 15 retail stores, 3 websites, and a total team of over 100 professionals across the UK, Ireland, and India.

With offices in Mumbai and Hyderabad, Cubix supports end-to-end operations including order management, supplier coordination, logistics, and customer support for Apex Jewellers.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to head the Accounts Department and manage complete accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end accounting including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and finalization of books across India, UK, and Ireland

  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closures with accurate financial statements for UK and Ireland entities, including variance analysis and management reporting
  • Handle statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC (India) and UK & Ireland compliances such as VAT, PAYE, NIC, payroll processing, and statutory filings
  • Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow statements, and consolidated reports covering UK and Ireland operations
  • Coordinate with UK & Ireland accountants, payroll providers, tax consultants, and statutory auditors to ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Review and manage UK & Ireland payroll accounting, employee-related statutory payments, and reporting deadlines
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines across all geographies
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes aligned with UK & Ireland regulatory standards

Requirements:

6–10 years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on UK and Ireland accounting exposure

  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, with proven working knowledge of UK & Ireland accounting, VAT, payroll, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience handling UK & Ireland audits, statutory filings, and cross-border coordination
  • Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
  • MBA (Finance) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (on-site at Dadar office)
  • Saturday: Work from home

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
