Job Description

Profile: Sr. Accountant

Experience: Relvant Exp. as mentioned in the JD

Salary Range:30K-35K(Negotiable max till 40k)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts: recording all financial transactions, ensuring accurate entries.
Maintain and reconcile subsidiary and general ledgers (AR/AP, inventory, bank, intercompany, fixed assets).
Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings: journals, accruals, depreciation, prepayments etc.
Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for internal review and external audit.
Ensure all statutory compliance: GST, TDS, income tax, PF/ESIC etc., and timely filing.
Coordinate external and internal audits, prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor queries.
Prepare MIS reports, budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting.
Enforce internal controls, document accounting policies and ensure adherence.
Liaise with other departments (procurement, production, logistics etc.) to get accurate costing and inventory valuations etc.

Experience & Qualification:

5-8 years of accounting experience (preferably in textile / fashion / manufacturing industry)
Degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com / M.Com) or CA-Inter / CA (if possible)
Proficiency in accounting software / ERP (Tally / SAP / Oracle / etc.)
Strong MS Excel skills
