Sr. Accountant

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support management reports and provide variance analysis (actual vs. budget).

2. General Ledger Management

• Maintain and monitor GL entries, journal postings, and account reconciliations.
• Review sub-ledger transactions (AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll).
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze budget variances and provide explanations to management.

4. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.
• Prepare and support internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit trails.

5. Taxation

• Prepare and review tax computations, filings (income tax, GST/VAT, TDS, etc.).
• Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities for compliance and audits.

6. Internal Controls

• Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.

7. Team Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise and guide junior accountants or accounting staff.
• Coordinate with other departments (procurement, HR, operations, etc.) to ensure accurate financial data.

8. System & Process Management

• Work with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally).
• Support automation and efficiency initiatives in financial operations.

9. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and fund management.
• Assist in planning for working capital requirements.

10. Management Support

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Participate in strategic planning and financial analysis for growth initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
