Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting operations, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role plays a key part in supporting financial decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
• Coordinate and assist with audits (internal and external)
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Support implementation of financial systems and process improvements
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff (if applicable)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, if applicable]

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with ERP systems
• Familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: ₹16,000.70 - ₹53,285.22 per month
