As a Community Development and Agricultural Marketing Specialist, you will champion sustainable agri-marketing initiatives aimed at boosting community resilience and biodiversity conservation. Your role will focus on empowering local farmer institutions, integrating innovative agricultural technologies, and enhancing the sustainable utilization of natural resources within community conserved areas.

Job Profile:
Programme Development:
- Develop and implement robust business plans that align community livelihood enhancement with biodiversity conservation objectives.
- Conduct market assessments to sustainably leverage locally significant agricultural and forest-based resources.
Programme Implementation:
- Strengthen farmer institutions and their market linkages, integrating innovative and ecologically sustainable agricultural technologies.
- Establish and manage procurement and logistics infrastructures, adhering strictly to sustainability principles.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and statutory requirements for farmer institutions.
- Develop procurement plans, including advance estimation of funds required and manage financial resources efficiently.
- Facilitate comprehensive training and capacity-building initiatives targeting field workers and community members in procurement, quality assessment, storage, and market dynamics.
- Conduct financial management and profitability analyses to ensure sustainable operations.
Networking & Advocacy:
- Build strategic partnerships and market linkages to support biodiversity-friendly agriculture and ensure profitable livelihoods.
- Monitor market trends and daily pricing from various mandis to maintain competitive advantage and profitability.
- Promote and establish e-marketing platforms for wider reach, transparency, and improved market access.
- Promote digital platforms and technological innovations to expand market access and incentivize conservation efforts.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Produce detailed MIS reports demonstrating clear links between agricultural productivity, community resilience, and biodiversity outcomes.
- Maintain rigorous tracking systems to evaluate sustainability, profitability, and conservation impacts of project interventions.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc. in Agriculture with MBA in Marketing or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in agri-marketing, sustainable agriculture, or conservation-linked livelihoods.
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English (written and spoken).
