Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Panipat for the position of Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will assist in the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, maintaining consistency in food preparation, assisting in menu planning, monitoring food safety standards, ordering kitchen supplies, and maintaining budgetary controls. The role also involves ensuring efficient storage practices, fostering a team-oriented environment, and liaising with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest dining experience.

Qualifications

Culinary skills, including expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and creativity in dish presentation
Knowledge of food safety regulations, storage standards, and hygiene practices
Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
Budgeting, cost control, and inventory management abilities
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in the hospitality or luxury sector
Formal culinary education or a related qualification is required
